"climate change hoax" hoax damaging

Global warming is real and those that deny this are damaging the pleas of small island states to save them from drowning.
It was very easy to say that the earth was flat. That was because majority of the people had kept this belief. So when someone pointed out that we were eating out the very planet we live on- there was a problem. Because that meant that some fat guy (no offense indented to any) would have to drop back his share of the cake and take less than he used to. And so just to escape the hard work to restore the balance or minimize the damage done to the earth, some wise guy with absolutely no backing of large scale factual evidence stands up and yells " Hey there is no problem...relax and keep burning that diesel". And to that all the fat guys scream with joy and hire a bunch of hackers, policy makers, wanna be scientists and not to forget columnists and speakers to persuade the whole world that there is no crisis at all. So while the water levels on small island nations like Tuvalu rise...precious time is wasted debating whether there really is something as global warming or not!!

The Earth heats up and then cools naturally over hundreds of years. Sea levels have risen hundreds of years ago as well as part of this natural cycle. But the rise was within acceptable range. the sea level rise at present is accelerated by the blanket of gases in our atmosphere causing a temperature rise and eventually melting of ice at the poles. All scientific evidence and common sense point to a chaotic global warming problem. The claim that this is not true has very little evidence.

Either way the idea of researching on and moving onto renewable energy is the best way forward for any nation. Unfortunately we call this "alternative" energy. For developing countries that do not posses fossilized fuel resources the idea of renewable energy can be a huge turnaround for their economy. They wont have to rely on expensive fuel from developed nations. They will create more employment within the country and create a healthier balance with nature.
