I have deliberately moved closer to Suva Sea point, the prime reason was i always wanted to live close to the sea. After about a million Sundays, i finally had a Sunday off and went fishing. I caught seaweeds only. No Fish. Thats the interesting part.
When i had earlier been down to the sea, the barnacle like organs were the only inhabitants. the other tribes of sand and rock along with "white" plastic intruders were also plentiful. But come this season of extreme summer, i actually saw a huge farm of seaweed. I also saw few schools of fish that were definitely too small for my hook. life had begun once again in this patch and gave me a reason to quit tryin to kill the fish and watch them instead. I have no idea if this coming of life is cyclic and that the witty little runners will vanish soon along with the sea of green. Thats when i regret not having done Biology (not!).
will the new tenants make this a permanent home?...have to wait and see...but till then its quite a site to look at....
i hope bigger ones, reasonable for my hook will follow.
Cheers!
